I've only ever suctioned J if he was stuffy, and never been told I need to otherwise. If you do find it necessary to do, however, I have to recommend useng a Nosefrida. My sone won't even tolerate having his nose so much as looked at funny, but suctioning with it has been a breeze.

My 7 month old is currently undergoing his first hospitalization. Neither his viral nor bacterial cultures have grown anything to tell us why he is sick. If nothing is present by tomorrow, he may need a bronchoscopy. Can anyone share their experience with having an infant go through this procedure?

Pulmicort is a steroid, it is very possible this could be a side effect. Call your doctor or pharmacist to see what can be done to help her cope with the irritated feeling.

Amazing! We are pulling for Jordan. Do you by any chance know how I can get in touch with her mother or have an address for care packages? I don't want to bother them at this time (obviously!), but would really like to send something to cheer her up during recovery.
