I'm 29 and my fev1 levels are 32 precent, recently 22%. I had the discussion with my doctor 3 yrs. ago, but now i'm getting worst. I've looked it up online and read some where that the transplant is only good for up to 5 yrs. Is that true? Or, am I better off living the next 10 yrs. sick like this?

Hi as long as your boyfriend doesn't carry the cf gene then your baby will not have cf. and there is a chance your baby might not even be a carrier. I have cf and my daughter is 19 months old and has been tested she's not even a carrier. so there is some hope out there...

i recently lost alot of weight do to cf and other problems. i found that skandishakes work well just ask your cf doc about them they are made for cf patients. sue 28/ cf. pround mom and wife.
