Just as a side note, seafood can make your cholesteral go up as well. Not permanently I dont think, but I mean if you eat a high seafood diet it might could cause problems. Last lent I had bouts of it and so I made sure I hadnt eaten seafood near the times I got my blood drawn.

I can't say I have been in your situation but I have learned a few things. You are right, the anti-rejection drugs are hard on your kidneys, and thats why your drs will keep close watch post tx on your blood levels. They also try to keep you away from drugs that are filtered thru the kidneys...
