Yes of course. I still think it is unlikely that a child of two months with cf had a lung transplant, have never read anything about it, and I think it would have been big news. Perhaps there is some confusion with the ten year old who had two lung transplants. Just a thought.
cabadie1 - I very much doubt that your cf dr performed a lung transplant on a two month old. Evaluations and waiting lists are many months longer than two months. I recommend you seek clarification on that.
I think it's okay to let God be the planner, along with assistance from the medical profession. In my opinion God (or whoever you might believe in) gave us the tools to help with these kinds of decisions. Burying heads in the sand does not have to be God's only way.Just my two cents.
I think, but I'm not entirely sure that the basic testing is done & then it can be tested further to identify the particular strain.
My son picked up his pseudomonas at the clinic he was attending at the time, and it is a different strain to the one that is common at the clinic he is at now...
