my bicarbonate levels have been scary low, which isnt that big of a deal... but the people who were running the study from where I was going said that people were having major kidney issues, from stones to pouring blood into urine. I guess the trials in the UK released a bunch more info on it...

I did go to the accommodations office, and we did set up a plan.  They have me 2 more absences per class more than everyone else gets.  That means 5 total.  I have missed 4 of some classes so far, and each class is twice a week.  So if Im in the hospital for 2 weeks, thats 4 classes right there...
