My sister-in-law is 25 and has CF, though right now her biggest battle is with her liver...I don't think it's functioning at all, and she's been hospitalized a lot lately (high ammonia levels, a coma, a TIPS procedure for a stent). My mother-in-law and father-in-law are really starting to hurt...

My husband is a carrier (not sure which mutation). His sister has CF (I don't know her mutations, either). We have a 4 year old son, but he hasn't had a carrier test done. I don't have any mutations, and he doesn't have CF.
