I haven't been on this board in a while. Joseph's last sweat test came out WAY neg. But, we did find out the he has 1p36. This is a deletion of the first chromosome. Maybe we will get some answers. KPC

I know this has nothing to do with CF but, my son was dignosed with chromosome 1 deletion. The very tip of the chromosome is broken off. The exact dig. is chrom1 p36.3. What are the chances he can have 2 diffrent chrom. problems? (this is familt history) Katie

He acts like he constapied but when they felt his belly they said he wasnt. His stools are 9 out of 10 times very dark, sometimes hard. Never any blood. We go to Childrens in Boston. No RAST test!?!?! He eats stage 2 fruit, vegi, oatmeal and similac advance.
