I am surprised to see CFers against the ACA (Affordable Care Act, aka Healthcare Reform). Please, let's not call it Obamacare. It is NOT socialized medicine. The government won't be taking over hospitals, doctors, or even health insurance companies. It IS regulation of the health insurance...
I am interested in finding out if phase 2 clinical trial for 770/809 will be open to those with only one df508. The current study is for double df508s only. If anyone knows....please post. My doc says they don't know.

Interesting...we're all different. When I tried Tobi many years ago it caused repeated hemoptsis...cups of blood and decided it was not worth it. Retried when they reformulated without preservatives...same issue. Funny I always thought it tasted like tequilla! The Cayston, however, did not...

I was happy to stumble upon this as have ongoing concerns.
I am 49 with CF, FEV1=44%. About 4 years ago I had a bad year with 3 hospitalizations, fevers, hemoptsis, really low energy. My Doc sent sputum in for "further testing" and called me a month after a hospitalization to tell me I had...

Well, I certainly have no scientific data to support this....but feel the benefits of being in water, either pool or lake far exceeds the risk. I find that when I swim or do water sports that the moisture/activity combination loosens up the mucous and I tend to clear "mouthfulls" during and...

Becki,<br>It may be that you just need to work up to it. But, sounds like you have speed too high on treadmill to start. If I ever run on treadmill, which I try to avoid, I would only have it on about 4.5. Better to just go at what feels right on the road or path. I'd suggest at starting...
