My daughter has Auditory Neuropathy and mild hearing loss... I dont think anybody knows what caused it... I wonder if it could have been because of the antibiotics she was on a few weeks before she got sick. That would be a good question to speak with her doctors about i guess.

So Casey is finally being discharged today. We have a lot of thihngs to follow up on though. PT, OT, speech, auditory, neuro, metabolic, infectious disease, and the list goes on. lol... I am happy to be able to say her cf dr has now classified her as having cftr Metabolic Disorder instead of cf...

thanks, yes she is on medicaid. they do pay for gas for doc appts but i didnt know they paid for food during hospital stays... i will have to remember to ask about that for future reference
