Your post brought back a lot of memories of my son doing the same things. We were told to back off the traditional feedings by his dietician, to have little nibbly snacks available to him so he could "graze" when he was hungry, lots of Pediasure in his bottle or cup and we continued this way...

I don't know if other children are like this, but when my son sounds like Alyssa, all rattly and then starts throwing up, he always ends up having pneumonia. I hope that is not the case with your daughter ... but I think that it is good that you are getting her checked out just in case...
