I take so many precautions to never catch MAC...
Ok, this is really weird. I have always been PS, not a single trace of the probs associated with PI. I'm an average to light eater, on the chubby side and have always had to watch what I eat to not gain too much weight. I've been CFRD for 22 years and very stable on insulin.
The last four days...
Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
You can send me the info by pm if you'd rather.
Thanks a bunch. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
I am one that tries to carry on my usual life when faced with home IVs. I try hard not to let them hold me back from doing anything I normally wouldn't do. I can only think of one instance where I had to bow out because of them - snow skiing!
Probably the weirdest place I've completed a whole...
Or should I say baby bottles - they are ginormous!

I have NEVER had meds in such a big intermate ball before. These are literally the size of a full size baby bottle. The drinking glass is a 16 oz-er, for comparison...

It seems I can always find what I need at Target.
Gotta have my fix every couple days or so, thank goodness I live just blocks away from my fav store. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I had pancreatitis once over 20 years ago, and have not had again since, thank god. It is one of the most painful experiences I've ever had, rates up there with childbirth. I felt like I had a 10" knife in my gut for a week, accompanied by fever, chills, and extreme nausea. <img...
Just thought I'd start an ongoing 'Good morning" thread for everyone to touch base with everyone else. Our quicky way to say Hi!
SO I'LL START IT OFF . . .
Goooooood morning. It's a beautiful warm clear day today.
I'm going to clean house and maybe tackle spot cleaning the carpet. <img...

This a toughie for me. I love ice cream but I crave salty crispy things. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">
Hmmmmmm which one. I guess I'd have to give up ice cream because of the sugar.
Noooooo, I take that back. Who am I kidding, I can't give up either. <img...
So what lurks in your family tree. Do you know of any other family members that have CF?? I'm always interested how prevalent it is in some families and other's it pops out of the blue.
I don't have any known living relatives with CF, but there were several siblings of my Grandparents on both...
Hello everyone! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
So finally, I've set up my blog! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
Even though I chatted with some of you and posted a few times, my CF history is now officially documented! <img...
Hi everyone! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
I'm pretty new to the forum and haven't officially introduced myself but I plan to start my blog soon. This is my first thread start, yeah! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">
Ok, so I still...
