What are the odds of someone needing a kidney transplant after receiving a double lung transplant? More to the point, what are the odds of survival if this were the case?
My friend is looking to go back to school now that he's been transplanted but he claims that he can't get any outside funding because he is no longer qualified as a "disabled". Now I know this isn't the case considering he still has CF and he lost two years of his life to it before transplant...
Please share your stories. I would like to know about emotional adjustments that were made after transplant. What was it like reconnecting with friends, lovers, and life again? What was the hardest part about returning home? What was the most exciting part? And what were some significant changes...
My darling friend Michael is getting his transplant right at this very moment. He is 38 years old and hasn't been able to pick up a pair of drumsticks in months. Please pray for his recovery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
