I take Xolair shots every two weeks (375mg). In response to Diana Blue, you should also be aware that IGE levels are elevated during Xolair treatment so that testing these levels for indication of allergic reaction or fungal infection is not reliable and so no longer really necessary.
Your symptoms sound similar to my own. I was on Prednisone for more than 2 years to control ABPA. I have been on Xolair now for over 18 months and it has worked wonders for me. It enabled me to get off the Prednisone and stay off it. That has the added benefit of clearing up the nasty side...
Aspergillosis
I have had a similar experience to the previous post, dealing with acute bronco-pulmonary aspergillosis. The initial treatment after a final diagnosis was with itraconazole and prednisone. The anti-fungal did nothing, but the prednisone kept it under control. Every time we...
I have been taking one hour of halotherapy every 2 weeks since being diagnosed at age 49 (The Salt Room in Centerville, Ohio). I find it helps almost immediately with sinus and any upper respiratory symptoms. I treat it like part of my maintenance regime. It also happens to be pretty relaxing...
Abpa

ABPA - Xolair works for me
After two visits to the ER with ABPA, I was given Voriconazole and Prednisone. The Voriconazole did nothing and was discontinued after a few months. The Prednisone worked if the dosage was kept up (20-40 mg daily). As soon as the Prednisone dosage was reduced to lower...
