I've had more than one collapse and once you know what it feels like it is unmistakable. The first time I wasnt sure so I waited afew days before going to the hospital, it turned out it was a 40% collapse. If he still has pain he should at least let his doctor know and get X-rays.

I had alot of granulation tissue when I had my G-tube placed and I had to use the nitrate. I dont remember it hurting at all and it's been gone for a long time. I've had the tube since the spring of 2002.
