I talked with my mom this morning. She said they must of taken 15 viles of blood from him yesterday, for genetic testing (which I don't know how b/c he is so small), they saw about 20 doctors since it is a teaching hospital and was in the ER most of the day waiting for a bed to open up. Finally...

My sister is still breast feeding. He doesn't have an infection (he has been in and out of the ER 2 times this past week to see if he has RSV) They say his lungs are clear but he has a cough.

Sorry I mean to ask what kind of treatments should/can we be doing or expect to help him gain weight. He was born 7lbs 1.5oz and is now 6lbs 9-12oz. This is a major concern for us. Any advise will help

So our worst fears were confirmed today. Sweat test performed today is postive for CF.
