Sorry it didn't turn out the way you had wanted. It is OK to grieve the birth you may have imagined. Healthy baby/mother is most important but it doesn't mean that the process and experience don't matter. That said, I'm glad she's here safe and sound and its great that you were able to nurse in recovery!
