My oldest son does not have cf but he will be turning 15 next month. He has just recently started "maturing". Some boys are later than others so I would just assume he is a little on the later side. I dont really know if cf plays a factor in it or not.

I was a late bloomer...I think my man growth didn't start until I was 15 or so(still holding out for more though). I think I got hair under my arms at 13 or so but everything else was a couple years behind that. If you are worried maybe have the doctor check him out, I am sure they can do some sort of testing to see where his hormone levels are at.
My son was behind everyone else his age when it came to that stuff. He was always embarassed by it. His doctor put him on Testosterone shots then the patches. He was also short and that bothered him the most I think. He finally got taller than me but never got very tall. I think he was 5'7.

My Josh is also pretty embarassed by his small size. Growth hormones was one of the things we discussed with the endocrinologist. How old was your Josh when you decided this?
