Brian asked me to marry him today!! I had no clue, it was a total surprise! We went over to our friend's house (I was like "What's going on at Kenny's?"). WHen we got there he said he had a surprise for me. I kept bugging him about it then he was down on one knee!!! He said "Marry me babe." The big joke later was that it was an order not a question since he's in the military! Haha. I'm so excited!!!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so thrilled for you!

It's even that much better that you had no clue. I remember knowing that Mark was going to ask me at sometime... I just kept waiting. It's so exciting. So exciting. I just told mark like some giddy little girl. He was like, "that's exciting honey, pass my congrats". So congrats to both of you from him too!

Big huge congratulations!

Congrats!
I tell ya, though, proposing gives a guy such cold feet, though!! (Pun)
Funny how it seems you ladies know the proposal is coming eventually, but not sure EXACTLY when...
Oh, did he give you a big fat diamond? I went through the proposal twice, and the first one, I couldn't afford a big ring, so did what I could with the circumstances (she wasn't very understanding, though).
My second proposal, I gave her matching watches for me and her, but we (I) spent more money on our wedding band, since the watch was more practical, and the wedding band was going to be the most used!
BTW, make sure if you get any kind of long-lasting ring (or jewelry, etc.) get it in no less than 18k gold, or 900 platinum. The salty sweat has to be the first major consideration. If not because of the discolloring, at least to avoid any skin rash or chemical reaction between the metals and salts.
Again, Congratulations...next is the wedding plans!
