i'm finally getting around to ordering an acapella. i got a lot of good information off of old threads on here, but i wanted to check in that this is what people are still using?

i'm going to check and see if my clinic ever has them to give away but i am doubtful. other than that, i am thinking of calling Smith's medical. anyone know anywhere else they are available? i already checked with Apria where i get my other medical supply stuff.

I got mine from the CF pharmacy. Also, it really does help to do it laying down as well as sitting up...for me anyway <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

Acapella Choice...that's the one. My cf nurse called a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Center that my insurance deals with and had it sent to me. Not sure what company she went through...sorry.

This is the one that my daughters are using. They were given theirs at our CF clinic, at no cost to us. Kayla was given her's in December, and Hannah received hers just yesterday<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I have one, but I can't remember for the life of me where it came from!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0"> I think mine came from the CF Services Pharmacy? Sorry, that wasn't much help, was it?

Now that I think about it, my clinic ordered it for me, wherever it came from- can your clinic order one for you? (I also ordered it the same insurance year that I got my vest, since my durable goods copay was taken care of <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> ).
