Please let me know how it goes for you as we plan on taking a trip in Sept. I am alreay nervous about taking my daughter's vest along with her meds. I do plan on taking her medical supplies as carry ons. I so hope we don't run into any rude airline employees - my daughter is so self conscious the way it is I don't want anything to ruin this trip for her.

Too late for Brewz2, but others can use this: Besides lots of antibacterial wipes, we bring along several masks for the plane ride. We get them from our clinic. The Vest: We have the older ginormous one and it is pretty impossible to fly with. We got in touch with the local Hill-Rom rep. who let us borrow the newer portable one after our clinic vouched for us. We went to Mexico with it, and have used it a couple of times since. It just fits in the overhead compartment in its case with all the hoses and stuff inside. In fact, I think we got the neb compressor in the case as well after squishing the vest and the hoses into one side. We did have a letter with us describing it's use and medical necessity.
