Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has had this same experience with albuteral nebs as me. I always had a regular albuteral inhaler prescribed for me, and would take it semi-frequently. Then I was in the hospital because of the flu last year, realllllly sick, and they gave me the albuteral neb to help me breathe easier...the inflammation of the flu was literally making it feel like i couldnt breathe. I loved it it made me feel so much better, so when i left i asked if i could have an rx and a machine to do it at home. So i did it basically for about 5 months, and then i started to realize that when i got up in the morning, it was like i was really short of breath until i did my inhaler, like i was dependent on it and it was almost having adverse effects. I decided to stop and for a few days felt the same but ignored it and eventually i went back to feeling normal and not like i 'needed' a nebulizer. It was great when I was sick and really inflamed and congested, but didnt seem so on a regular basis.
Was wondering if anyone else had similar situations.
Caitlin
