Yep that is the same as me. My lungs are totally clear but my lung function is horrible because of allergies. For some reason my doc won't put me on allergy medicine and just is going to put a PICC line in me. I really want allergy medicine now though. It is such a bad allergy season!

My son w/CF is 3 and we suspect he has seasonal allergies. His CF doc. put him on zyrtec for a 30day trial during the last allergy period and it seemed to make a difference. We're going to do it again next season.

I have allergies that I haven't bothered with until recently. The post nasal drip and constant throat clearing were driving me crazy. I got allergy tested and the allergist gave me singulair. It has actually helped alot. Even though I haven't been using my nose spray the past few weeks - for other reasons - I am still noticing a HUGE difference in my psot nasal drip and sinus issues.
