Altera Neb + Albuterol

I've tried Cayston with the Altera neb and it gives me a really bad reaction. I'm sticking with Colistin because I just can't breathe when I take Cayston. Haven't refilled my Cayston Rx in a long time and the CF Pharmacy has still not asked for the neb back. Maybe they never will. I'm sure they can't do anything with it.

I'd like to use the Altera strictly for albuterol treatments when I'm out and about since it's battery operated. Is that okay to put albuterol in there (again, not doing Cayston in it) and then do you think it would need to be cleaned after each treatment?

Is the Altera the exact same neb as the Eflow with a new name?

Thanks, Barbara
