Am I crazy?!

For the first week of my IVs I could barely stay awake thanks to cefipime. I was mostly fine with this since I slept great! Then I started to tolerate it better and wasn't so groggy. But for 2 nights in a row now I haven't slept!!! I will lay down and get into a pretty deep relaxed state. But I don't dream, and if you don't get REM sleep you aren't getting restorative sleep. Is is possible that my abx made me go from one extreme to the other?
