Annual total cost of cf care per patient

Does anyone know what the average cost is per patient per year with cystic fibrosis? I'm not asking for how much you spend after your insurance but rather what the total cost is out of pocket and with the portion covered by insurance. I need it for a project I'm working on and prefer a figure that can be sourced. Didn't the CFF put out a number on this that was mentioned in a recent research journal article? Can anyone help me? Feel free to PM me if you'd like.

You can ask Jeanne, she just posted this question not that long ago. I don't have the time to figure it out, I have huge medical bills but I really don't know how much. That would overwhelm me.

I know that my insurance was billed for $53,000+ for a few day stay at a hospital when I was really bad pneumonia and was intubated. When I got the bill asking for a $3.00 copay and saw what my insurance had to pay I was flabbergasted.

My guess would be at least $150,000+/year for those of us who are in the hospital at least once a year.
