I was wondering if you think or if anyone has encountered problems with receiving chiropractic care due to the location of the port? The thought came into my head & since I have received chriopractic care in the past & will most likely in the future I was curious!

Melissa,

I frequent the chiropractor but I don't have a Port. The advice I can give you though is that I've been to many chiropractors because of moving a lot. Each has their own technique as you might know already. If your current chiro. isn't willing to adjust his/her technique to fit your body comfortably then try a new one. I usually hunt for graduates from these two chiro. schools - Life and Palmer.

What are FEV1 & FVC % if you don't mind telling me? At what point did you decide to get a Port?

I havent decided, but I know its coming soon. In November my FEV was 47. I am schedule for a checkup on Wednesday & hopefully I will break 50. I have come a long way from last year between March & October. I was in the 30's then! I have a fantastic chiropractor that is up on CF which actually surprised me since I live in the country. He has worked with me on many things. All he ever asked is that I tell him when my meds get changed in case its steroid involved. I dont ?? his ability. I was just curious in general!
