I'm in the Denufosol trial, but I haven't really heard any news about it. I was one of the last ones to get in on the 12-month double-blind phase III, so I just started the actual study drug for sure a couple of weeks ago. I think I was probably on the placebo for the first 6 months, although I did see an increase in my lung function about 3 months in. I picked up a couple of new bugs right before I started the study drug, so I'm feeling kinda crappy right now, but I should be feeling better in 4 or 5 weeks after my next IV run. I'm optimistic that in a couple of months my lung function will be higher than ever. Either way, I'll make a post to let everyone know.

I am on the trial as well. I have been on the actual drug for a few weeks now. I am not sure about the first 6 months as my PFT's did increase slightly. Currently my FEV is up to 88% compared to 82% when I entered the trial. All the other numerical monitored results went up as well. I have been healthy during the entire period.

It is still not known if the clinical trial patients will be able to receive the drug after it is released or if we will have to wait until it is truly released. Word on the street is that he could be another year after the Phase 3 trial ends for it to get approved and be available.

Hope this helpful and fins everyone in good health.
