heyhey
Sorry i haven't written an update on Marie for a while... And thanks for bumping this up again!
I am away for the weekend. I do have my laptop with me as i found out there will would be a wireless connection here, there is but it is very bad.. I count get to the boards till now. And it is still soooo slow! I'll be home on monday, can't wait to be able to read more again! But anyway..
Marie is one step closer to home! She was in the hospital in Goteborg till yesterday. Yesterday she was sent to her hometown, but not home yet.. She has to stay in the hospital overthere a little longer. She doesn't know how long.
Marie is still on dialysis, 2 times a week now. And she still has big problems with her eyes.. She can't see with one eye and with the other she can see for about 20%. She will be on anti fungal meds for a long time and they still have hope it will get better then it's now. So we're all keeping our fingers crossed! She has had a few surgeries on her eyes to put in more meds and to sort of clean her eyes. I don't know if they will continue doing that at the other hospital.
Marie's new lungs are still doing good! And her heart is ok again too.
Monday the 15th is Marie's birthday! So she's happy that she's closer to home now alltough she would really really want to go home now.
Hopefully she's be home and sleeping in her own bed soon.
Marie didn't have a computer for a while so she hasn't been online for the past two weeks i think, i'm not sure. I have talked to her on the phone. Am always happy to hear her My phonebill is going crazy with phoning abroad every few weeks, as must be hers, but that's worth it
I'm still hoping to go see her this year, so we can finally meet in real life
