Anyone know about the next gen E-flow?

I don't put up with any crap (leaking, blocking, slower neb times, etc.) from my Eflow and since this device is far from perfect, I've been through many e-flow handpieces. I'm following procedure so I don't know why it's not working for me. It's not that I've only received defective handsets because they'll work for max a couple months then become problematic. Care to know more on this? Please pm me. Just saying....if your handset doesn't work like it should SEND IT BACK!!!

Okay back to the topic at hand...
I mentioned in a LOL tone to the Foundation care rep who handles authorizing sending me a new Eflow that I was glad I was running this device through it's paces that hopefully by me (and other current Eflow users) using it now before Aztreonam comes out and requires many end users that hopefully the "bugs" will be worked out of this device....that hmmm hmmm it's not working much better than an beta prototype. She said well actually the Eflow you are using won't be the same Eflow that is used with Aztreonam when it hits the market. She said something along the lines that the pharmaceutical company (Gilead I suppose she was referring to) isn't doing the proper R&D to make this device work with Aztreonam that there would be a whole different Eflow all together for Aztreonam?!

So maybe Diane your complaint is quite common and has therefore been viewed as a possible failure reason. Or maybe there's someother reason? Any one care to dish some dirt on this subject? Heard anything?

Here's a picture of a girl using the Eflow I use that I nabbed from the web. Mine has a blue lid though.

Thats the same one i had also. I do remember them telling me if you dont rinse it out long enough....yadda yadda yadda, it could gum up and become ineffective. I did everything to the letter. I almost hoped mine would be less effective since it was woprking TOO well and making the mist waaaaaaaaayyyyy too dense.
Hmmmmmm come to think of it maybe you are right, i'm probably not the only one with that complaint.

The new one may be not be that different. I mentioned this before, but the new one I got when I went into the EAP for aztreonam did NOT have a place on the blue spaceship where the mouthpiece sat. I had to use the cord like this child is using. If you use the eflow you know that (at least with the other eflow I had for the study, which I think is the same you guys have) there is a carved out area where the mouthpiece COULD sit if you choose...but the newer model you are talking about Lauren could be this one:
