Hello everyone! I know that some of you guys out there have digestive involvement but have mostly pulmonary issues. I have the opposite issues. I have more digestive involvement and liver issues and I have very mild pulmonary involvement. I do have my flair ups where I go on IV for it (just got my midline out this past Friday! ) In my CF clinic, I am only 1 of 2 patients of his who have more digestive problems than pulmonary!

I was just wondering if anyone else out there has the same issue?

My involvement was pancreatic for a very long time. That has changed though as I get older so take real real good care of those healthy lungs and don't let them fool ya

I've always had more digestive related problems than respiratory problems. Only recently has my respiratory problems had started to become an issue with me.

oh yes, don't i know it that those lungs in there can be pretty tricky. i try to keep them as healthy as possible. so far i had a midline for a severe lung infection in my senior year of high school, i just got it out and i'm in my senior year of college, so if all goes well hopefully if i ever need one again i'll be a senior citizen! lol

do your CF doctors keep tabs on both? or is he/she more versed in one area? mine is more pulmonology which puts me at a bit of a disadvantage because its like i really have to keep heavy tabs on myself with the digestive aspect of things.
