just wondering how many out people out there have found some legitimate work from home opportunities and what it is?

I work in a prison as a correctional officer and every once and a while i start to wonder what else is out there.

Your job sounds amazing. I am so interested in anything related to that, although I can imagine how draining and stressful it can be at times.

I work full time at a company and i know that's the best thing i can do for my mental health - which will then have a huge impact on my physical health. When i don't work, i feel like *****. Working and seeing people every day helps me feel more normal and realize that i'm good at stuff. Otherwise i feel useless.

If you're still OK to work, health wise, i think you should..we never know how much longer we can do it for!

My sister (no CF) worked from home for about 2 years and went a bit crazy.... But sure, it depends on the person and your personality.

Best,

Vera

I agree with Vera, my job is stressful, but my co-workers keep me sane. I've made good friends with most of the people I work with.

I'm not *compeletely* satisfied with my job, but with the way the economy is I'm thankful I still have one, so I'll be staying here for a while.

If you're able to work outside of home, I say continue on doing so while you are able. Although I must admit, working from home seems like it would have perks!! I'd miss interactions with people though; maybe some day!

I do. I worked on and off from home for quite a number of years. Last August, I got the OK to do it full time. I go into the office about once a month. I'm a database administrator. It's not a job I just go to do. I've worked in the electronics and computer industry for over 25 years now.
