Currently, there is an independent clinical trial center in South
Florida that is in the process of recruiting a small number of male
df508 patients (two copies) between the ages of 18 and 45 to test
the effects of an oral herbal treatment. This is a local trial and
would require test subjects to be available to those living or
traveling in South Florida. The study is based on a recent
research paper published in the Journal of Medical Hypotheses. This can be found at www.sharktank.org
A new model of cystic fibrosis pathology:
Lack of transport of glutathione and its thiocyanate conjugates.
This trial is being sponsored by Share International Foundation.
This study has been approved by a human subjects review panel, and
is being supervised by an independent research center located in
South Florida. It will be carried out of over a 3 or
4 week time period and will require the participants to submit to 4
blood draws to test the effectiveness of the treatment pre and
post. Study subjects will be compensated approximately $400.00 for
their time.
