Birthday and anniversary Calendar

I mentioned it before, but am ready to 'take action' now <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">. Is anybody interested in a birthday and anniversary calendar?

If the interest is there, I was going to talk to the mods and see if there is a way to put a "sticky" on top of the adult forum (adult simply because it's the most viewed). If they could do it, I would be happy to have everyone email me their birthday, spouses birthday, child's birthday... and complie it. OR maybe the mods have a way that the logged in users can go in and add their birthdays/anniversaries on an interactive calendar???? I was thinking we should use our user names though, and then if it's a child put, "zoeyxxxx daughter's birthday, 4 years", or "julie and Markus anniversary 4 years" on the date. So we know who to wish the birthday/anniversary to since a number of people don't use real names.

Anyone else think we should? I would LOVE to have one and be more than happy to help put it together or take submissions and add them.... whatever works.

Sounds interesting.. Just to see who's when and to make sure and
wish people a happy... I was interested to learn that I'm
sandwiched between you and allie... wonder who else is adjacent
days or the same day?  only need 26 people to have a 50% prob
of having a duplicate birthday, so we should be there...

Wonderful! I just sent off an email about it, asking if it's a possibility and how we can make it happen if the mods. like the idea.

I was thinking that the birthdays would be for forum users and their immediate families (husband, wife, daughter, granddaughter...) who are directly related to CF. i.e. when Kayleesgrandma says that "x date is Kayleesgrandma's granddaughter's birthday" we know who she is talking about (kayleesgrandma beind the USER and granddaughter being the BIRTHDAY girl). I think we should stick to user names though, I do know some by the first names, but not many and don't want to get confused. Does anyone object to user names???

As far as the anniversaries, I was thinking wedding anniversaries, dating anniversaries, transplant anniversaries and the anniversary of a family member passing (directly related to CF). Is there any anniversary type I am missing?

Yeahhhh, I'm excited about this.
