Birthday Postings

Mel and I were discussing the birthday posting issue, and I said "I just want a calender that listed it all,, and then I could wish someone I know happy birthday." Mel showed me where the calendar is that already does this, mind you---she had to spell it out for me! Now as I sit slapping myself on the head---I'm thinking, why doen't the forum do a general "happy birthday" to all the monthly birthdays? Like at the begining of the month, a "We wish all the January birthdays a happy birthday, check out the calendar."---kind of thing? Then if there is someone special to us, we can wish a happy birthday to them special, like Allie does with birthday cakes--(I love that, by the way!) I think it is relevant in the adult topic---as someone pointed out--it's a important day--another year fought and won against this disease! So I'm a dummy, I freely admit it.

There is a birthday ummm, I dunno ticker thingy. If people DO enter their birthdays, then on that day, the computer generates a happy birthday message to that person. It's people who don't eitner their birthday or who don't allow that info to be viewed, that won't get a birthday wish.

As this community grows in size, then it will cause the present system of birthday posts to become to small, I reakon you will need a sub-topic for birthdays.
BTW I just checked out April, thats when my birthday is, and out of the 36 entries I trully only recognised 4 names.
All the other names are just as important to this community as to the ones who post regularly.
