cause of distended abdomen and how to get rid of it

I have a huge distended abdomen and I know the cause is cf. I've read that it develops from constipation but I'm pretty sure that I don't have that. I know many other CFer's have this problem too. What do yall do to decrease it or prevent it?

our son had it too. They used murilax for about 1 month and adjusted enzymes.
