Out of total curiousity i am wondering who on the site has cepacia, what strain ( genomovar) and how long have you had it and what are your current pft's?

~ Ive had cepacia 11 years now+
~ Genomovar III
~ my current fev1 was 39% but i am still on iv's and fully expect that number to rise (my daseline is in the mid 40's) so i will have to come back and give a more updated number.

My nephew has cepacia:
Started culturing it 8 years ago
It is type III (if memory serves me correct)
And his baseline FEV1 is in the low 50s

Lili cultured Multivorans Cepacia once in Dec 2006. She was treated with Bactrim for a month and it hasn't shown up again. Her baseline FEV1% is 130
