cf and smell

Hey guys,

Is it part of cf to get a foul smell after sitting for long periods? I do shower in the the morning, but when i sit for long periods in class or somewhere I develop a kind of slight smell. I can not detect it but my friends do, any hints!

I've never noticed this. But sometimes I get this weird smell that no one else can get and if it rinse under my nose, above my lip it dissappears!<img src="i/expressions/rose.gif" border="0">

have your friends describe the smell, different smells may mean different things. For example, Diabetic Keto Acidosis is a sweet smell.

Do you have sinus issues? I sometimes notice a foul smell, kind of like garbage but a little more stale, and what I am smelling is the mucus in my sinuses. Gross huh?<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Bacteria often smells, so if you have something growing, it can make your breath smell AWFUL! I know I reek in the morning if I've been coughing all night.

Hey i thhink you are 100% right at times i get this smell in my nose that no one else seems to have. i have a very large polip that i've gotten no treatment for but alot of times when i cough alot it comes to me for a brief time and then goes away . i've often wondered what it is and i think yoiu might be right atleast in my case

i get that smell too sometimes, and ill ask my friends if they smell anything and they dont....but i realized ts from inside my nose that only i can smell...weird huh!?

Ya I just had sinus surgery and my nose smells sooooooooooo bad, it makes me so sick sometimes. Even my family and boyfriend can smell my nose if they are close enough. I am hoping it will start to go away once I start going for the irrigation in my nose so I won't be smelling nasty stuff all the time! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

OMG how weird i get this too except (call me a freak!) but i like smelling it!?!?!?! Im always pushing my nose down to get a 'wiff'! Strange person that i am!! hehee
