CF Awarness Update?

Just wanted to inquire about the letter for CF awareness. I haven't been on as much since law school restarted. Has a draft ever been posted? Just thought I'd see if there was any updates.

?Senator? Graham? Is this just a screenname or are you a Senator? If so , let me direct your attention to a thread posted by WinAce on the forum. It's the one that mentions Raleigh, click on that then click to go to the website he speaks of. Could you read his story and tell us what you think? That is, if you are a Senator.

I haven't posted it yet, I could list many excuses but instead I will have this weekend and next week (after work) to dedicate to it. I was out to sea unexpectedly last week (and part of the week before) but I am determined to get this thing done. In the mean time, I have made some contactwith some of the stations/shows that were suggested and I have 2 (maybe 3 ???) mailing addresses for show ideas. It took 3 weeks between when I sent the request for an address/point of contact for a show idea. I know I have emailed more, I just haven't heard anything back. So my work next week will be the letter and getting more contacts.

Ironically enough, I was just going to post an article from NEWSWEEK about CF and adults, it's not too descriptive, but it's a start and better than nothing....<a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9193315/site/newsweek/">http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9193315/site/newsweek/</a> I am going to print this out and make copies to send with EVERY letter. If anyone else is interested, it might just back our request.

Senatorgraham is my screen name. I am working hard at making it a reality though. I am currently a law student (see the post regarding what we all look like) and am exploring my first run for public office right now. I am hoping to ensure that my voice is heard loud and clear.

However, I will look at the post regarding Win ACe because I believe we would all like to see him get his transplant and I am not without experience having spent some time working for a former Assemblymember.

Thats pretty cool. What office are you looking into running for? Whatever it is, good luck! I ran for City Council last year in my town and missed it by 18 votes. That was good though because I am not from here, and this is a small town where you pretty much have to be a native to get any type of elected office. I will try again next time however, and am confident I will win.
