hi!! i just have a few questions regarding cystic fibrosis related
diabetes. how common is this among cfers, as in what percentage of
people w/cf develop cfrd? i was just wondering as i don't have the
condition but i've noticed that there are quite a few people on
this forum that do. is there anything that you can do to prevent
it, or is it just sort of inevitable? if you are pancreatic
insufficient does that mean you are more likely to develop it, and
are those with more gastrointestinal based cf related problems more
at risk for developing it? thanks

Hi Mel..oh yeah, there is tons of info on this site about CFRD....I am going through sugar swings so I too have been researching it. Lots of valuable stuff on this site. Good luck and as the others have said, give a holler if you want specific info...so many people here are helpful. Hugs, Jenn
