Do you check your blood sugar when it is happening? If you do is it high or low or normal? If not maybe you should just to see if it is a symptom of high or low blood sugar.

I used to get that with low blood sugar but haven't had it in years.

I also had a bad time with tingling in my hands and feet when I was having issues with my gallbladder - I don't really know if that is a symptom of gallstones or not but I did have issues with it, so I thought I would share.

Take Care,
Lindsey

Done any heavy lifting, or put pressure/weight on your wrist or hand? The ulnar nerve runs from the wrist, through the lower palm to the outer part of the hand. When the nerve gets compressed or inflammed, your pinky and outer part of your palm can go numb, and the inflammation and resulting numbness can stick around for a while.

Not to minimize the possibility of a CFRD cause, of course, and i'm no doctor, so caveat emptor.</end quote></div>

Is this the nerve that causes problems in Carpel Tunnel?

i have a teacher that has to have surgery on his hands for carpul tunnel. i really dont think that is the problem i am having. and its not a symptom of low sugar because my whole bodddy feels like its shaking when i have low blood sugar. im going to the dr soon so i'll ask her, but i asked a friend with diabetes and he said that his fingers tend to tingle but only for like a day on and off. this has been like 5 days on and off.

hmmm....
