Child needs transplant but has mycobacterium absessus. MAC OR MAB transplants reply

Need help. A dear friend of mine has a 9 year old son who needs a liver transplant. He unfortunately has a very active mycobacterium absessus infection that they have been trying to eradicate for years. His Drs want to talk to other Drs who have done this. They will have a better chance of convincing UNOS to list him. If you have had a transplant while having MAB or MAC (lung or liver) please contact me at atrippet@gmail.com

I do know of a child in our area who had a lung transplant in Texas --- Houston?. Don't know details other than that was the only transplant hospital that would take him. His mom and brother had to relocate there from the Midwest while waiting.
