cholestyramine?

Anybody else happen to take it? Just curious as Briceton was prescribed it today. Briceton continues to have chronic diarrhea, so I am hoping it helps, but...........from what I have read, cholestyramine can decrease the effectiveness of many other drugs. Many of which listed Briceton regularly takes, i.e. fat soluble vitamins (A, D, K, &, E), actigall, and so on. Just concerned that it will cause problems in other areas if it decreases the effectiveness of his other "much needed" drugs!

If you take it.....has it caused any problems for you in absorbing your other medications?

Thanks in advance!
