i have to admit: i am new to my acapella--i've had it a few weeks and only used it a few times. i got it maily to have something besides my flutter to take on my costa rica trip. but i am worried how i will clean this thing. the flutter i can just wipe down with alcohol pads. any suggestions for cleaning the acapella on the go?

thanks!

To clean all my equipment, I got a box with one sided snap-shut lid and just fill it with water and soap, shut the lid . shake, rinse, put a papertowel or clean cloth and shake to get the excess water off. The boxes come in all sizes, I have three depending on how many nebs I want to clean at the time. (IE, how lazy i'm feeling when i'm fully out... clean 1 or 16? *grin*) so that's what I would recommend, plus your acapella can live in the box and be protected whilist not in use.

Enjoy your trip, I'm real jealous!

Laura,
First of all, have a wonderful trip. I'va always wanted to go to CR. Tell us all about it when you get back.
One thing I have learned from traveling internationally is that be careful of the water. I'd take alcohol wipes with you (and make sure you check them in your luggage so they aren't thrown out by TSA or anything).
I know the accapella comes apart so just take it apart and wipe it down. Unless you have the option to boil them (if you are in a condo, suite, or time share) and then lay them on a clean paper towel and cover with a paper towel. I'd be sure to also ask my dr. what to do to be so careful not to pick up any 'bug' anywhere else. That is so risky.
Have a great time!!!!!
