I've taken clindamycin a few times and i dont recall having nausea with it. I always take antibiotics with a meal unless the bottle says not to. A lot of oral antibiotics can give you a sour stomach if you take them without food. I hope you feel better soon! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I was on Clindamycin about fifteen years ago when I was late teens. I got photosensitivity to the sun on it. I had huge blisters all over my body from swimming in the Australian sun (I live in Aust) -not a pleasurable memory. I know resp docs over here still use it a bit as a good change from the usual Fluclox and Cipro , tobramycin etc.
