Colistin: Insurance issue

If anyone has access to any journal articles demonstrating the effectiveness/ efficacy of inahled colistin please direct me to them or post the linke. I have found some articles but not a lot. I have a conference w/ the insurance company for my final appeal to get this med covered. I need more research. So far they have turned me down.

When I wanted to start Colistin I had my doctor write a "Medical Letter of Necessity" for me & that was good enough for the insurance company.
I assume your doctor has done this & they still won't budge?

That's not what the insurance company is asking for, however. I'm really not sure if my doctor has spoke to them or sent them a letter, but he does no I am having issues getting it covered. The insurance company wants to see research...of which I can find very little.
