I know it's not a very common med for CF.. Combivent is a neb with Ventolin and a long working puf combined. It is nebulized.
I was wondering if anyone has a clue on how long it is supposed to work? I ask this because I feel a little short of breath and did my pft's and they were lower then they usually are. But I always do them about an hour after nebs. And now it was 6 hours. So maybe it just doesn't work anymore. Or I'm short of breath because of something.
I'm going to neb again tonight. Usually do it only in the morning now my lungs are more stable. But I will do it again tonight and do pft's again about an hour after it, just to compair. They went down from about 1.68 to 1.31(1.23 and 1.28). This was usual for me before I started nebs.
I was just wondering if anyone knows how long such a neb is supposed to work.. Since there is a long acting bronchodialator(sp?) in it.
