Considering Phoenix

My FEV1 is hovering at about 31% and we were told to start picking out a transplant center. I am considering St. Joseph's in Phoenix. Has anyone gotten a transplant from there? If so, how is their communication with the CF team?

I'd thought for awhile they'd stopped doing transplants for a brief period of time, but obviously they're doing so again. I guess I'd want to know number of transplants they've performed compared to other centers.

You may want to check out this link...the Transplant Bible...it will give you lots of good information about the different transplant centers.

They have done over 500 transplants, although I'm not sure how many were CF ones...

Definitely ask or research online what their survival success rates are if you haven't yet. That will tell you a lot.
