I sat down and e-mailed our local newspaper about 15 minutes ago and told them that we needed exposure about the Great Strides Walk coming up.

I told them a little about Courtney and CF.

THEY CALLED ME WITHIN 15 MINUTES!

They said they would love to do an article and someone will be here next week to interview us!

They have a website so when it comes out I will let ya'll know.

Wow that's great, congrats. I remember I was in the paper when I was 5 years old. I was one of the first patients to move over to the new Children's in Boston. It was this big article about the move and they talked to me and took pictures. It was fun, and I remember they used a quote from me, I asked to make sure they had chocolate pudding. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

You reminded me of when I was about 4, the local news did a story on Cf, and I was on the segment with another little girl I knew (who has sadly since passed away) - I remember when the camera crew came in with the camera, I was afraid it was a huge shot and kpet my arms hidden behind my mom for as long as I could!

That's great. My kids were interviewed last year before the walk. They all thought it was so cool to see themselves in the paper.

That's cool. i did this little spot on a show called Pulse when i was about 10 it was pretty dorky but it seemed fun at the time I guess.

Great news! Anything to get awareness out on CF.

DH and I did an interview at the weekly paper last week and it should be published next wednesday. Had to go to the park with DS this morning for a photo op. Liza (aka ratatosk) mom to a 2 3/4 year old

Thats awesome! I did Burke's Tour last summer and while I was hosting Burke P Bear the local newspaper interviewed me and did a photo shoot. It was a neat experience and I ended up on the front page!

I know Courtney has to be super excited!
