Crazy question about BiPap

I was wondering for anyone who uses Bi-pap...

I am using it every night and I have not had any problem ever before this morning.

I woke up this morning and my stomach was totally distended, It feels like I ate the O2 last night instead of breathing it. But I would have thought by now 12 hours later I would have felt better, I have so much pressure in my belly, the only thing I can think of is I swallowed so much air.

Has any of you experienced this before, I am afraid to put my Bi Pap on tonight.

Yes, when I was on BiPAP, I had horrible gastric distention to the point of needing to sleep partially on my stomach so that I could get some relief. My pressures were pretty high, 20/6 and I have severe reflux disease. My doc said that if it continued, they could put in a g-tube to vent the air, I was pretty much biPaP dependent and it was increasingly difficult to tolerate. These days, I am vented nights, no more distention which I am happy about. Gastric distention was not the reason for my vent, it was just nice to not have to deal with that anymore. I would talk to your doctor, maybe he can adjust your pressures...perhaps they are too high for you and you are getting too much air as a result in your stomach.
I hope you find relief, it sucks for sure.
