Culture (staph & h-flu)

I don't recall DS' breath smelling bad when he cultured it. Other than sinus issues -- stuffy nose in the winter, I don't recall him having any symptoms when he cultured that or pseudo. I do know that when his doctor prescribed zithromax at about age 2 he mentioned that this should take care of the H-flu, too. Hasn't cultured it since (knock on wood).

It's intersting that you would mention that because when Andrew had his bronch they found pseudomonas, various molds, and staph, which we expected, but also Hflu for the first time. I thought the pseudomonas was what made his breath smell so icky, but maybe it was the hflu. His was a very sour smell. It went away after the ivs...so did the hflu. HMMMMMM.....
